The research and teaching project “Public Value goes international” the Department of Journalism & Media Management is drawing to an end. Finally, a new section on our website is online which presents project findings.
In the new data section on our website you can find several interactive diagrams on various issues related to public service media and their audiences, such as trust, importance of media in everyday life and willingness to pay.
The aim of the project “Public Value goes international” (2014-2016) was to collect and analyze data on the public value of media in Austria and other European countries. The researchers at the Department of Journalism & Media Management cooperated with academics and students from Albania, Belgium, Germany, Finland and Great Britain. The project received funding by Vienna Municipal Department 23 for Economic Affairs, Labour and Statistics (MA23).
